Going to Heaven II

I would like to share with you a beautiful poem.

Back to Heaven

By Ch’on, Sang Pyong
Translated from Korean by Brother Anthony of Taizé and Young Moo Kim

I’ll go back to heaven again.
Hand in hand with the dew
that melts at a touch of the dawning day,

I’ll go back to heaven again.
With the dusk, together, just we two,
at a sign from a cloud after playing on the slopes

I’ll go back to heaven again.
At the end of my outing to this beautiful world
I’ll go back and say: It was beautiful. . . .

One day we will all go back to our Eternal Home. Just as the Apostle Paul proudly testified about his life before the time of departure, we should fight the good fight, keeping the faith.

“For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:6-8, NIV)

Dear friends, let us be prepared to return Home in honor and glory.
