The time spent in this valley
Is but a temporary trial,
I walked the rugged, steep terrain,
I will walk another mile.
The rushing torrent of the water
Tries to engulf me with its waves,
The mighty hand of God holds on
To bring me where I’m safe.
Scaling the mountainous regions ahead
Feels challenging at times,
Not knowing what’s around the bend,
I am going through this blind.
But God as navigator
Charts out a perfect way,
He knows exactly where to lead,
I won’t be led astray.
He gives me clarity of thought,
I choose the right decisions,
There is no fear of tomorrow,
God has assured me His provision.
Every day of life I’m blessed,
No matter where I am,
In the valley or the mountaintop,
On His solid rock I stand.
