Stop worrying and be joyful

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

As Christians we are instructed to always be joyful. You know why? Because doing that is acknowledging God’s power and strength that is moving in our life. It’s normal for us not to smile and be joyful during problems. In life we face problems about our broken relationships with our close friends, family or sometimes at work. We worry about the bills or our debts. Our body is too weak due to sickness. That kind of problem makes us sad, and smiling or rejoicing is the hardest thing to do.

But we need to remember that worrying wouldn’t help at all. It wouldn’t make any contributions to ease the pain or solve the problems instead we’re adding negative results to our physical body as our hormones cause physical reactions such as difficulty swallowing, dizziness, dry mouth, fast heartbeat, fatigue, headaches, inability to concentrate and irritability. God wants you to rejoice by saying, Lord, you are bigger than any of these problems that I face today.

If you laugh at your problems, it means trusting Him and relying on Him everything, it means the devil is not victorious. God is greater than everything and since you are His son or daughter then you belong to His family and nothing can touch you! So stop worrying about tomorrow. The bible says “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34.

All you need to do is bow down, be humble and Pray continually, never stop praying even when you have problems. Never let Satan win!

Rejoice and be happy. You know that laughter lowers blood pressure, reduces stress hormone levels, improves cardiac health, triggers the release of endorphins and it produces a general sense of well-being. “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22

Most of all, give thanks no matter what happens. Doing that is claiming victory and claiming victory is lifting everything to God and acknowledging His power and control over everything. That is faith! “I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours” Mark 11:24.
