Come to Jesus.
But don’t come alone.
If we only save ourselves, what good is that?
Equate it to being on a large lifeboat. There are people in the water all around you, and they are in danger of drowning.
You have the chance to save them.
Some are good swimmers and they do not desire your help.
Then, there are those that can barely keep their head above the water. They are desperately reaching out to be rescued.
You are aware that the current will lead to dangerous conditions.
If they do not all come aboard, they will surely perish.
Salvation is like that lifeboat.
There are those who feel they do not need God. They think they are doing just fine.
Then there are those who are desperately searching for something, and they are eager to get saved.
Although both groups differ from each other, they both equally need God.
It does not matter that a person feels God doesn’t exist.
The fact is He is God.
Rather than arguing the point with a non-believer, pray for them.
Your prayers may be the answer to save them from the worst possible demise: Eternal separation from God.
And for those who are eager?
Grab hold of their hand and pull them in. God will take care of the rest.
Without God, we would all drown in sin and iniquity.
Jesus, He is truly the lifesaver.
Then Jesus told them this parable:4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
